Research tells us that the window of opportunity for growing your child’s
unique musical intelligence is birth to age nine. It is by no accident
that our core program, offered September through May, spans these years
and is designed to reflect these understandings. Our faculty will love our
year with you and your children, and all of us are preparing and looking
forward to next year.
People who make music and
respond to music daily are happier and more optimistic than people who
don’t. - Time Magazine, 2005
We encourage you to register for our
continuing program for we believe that music is an essential part of your
child’s development. More than any other area of study, music contributes
most to the development of all the intelligences: musical, linguistic,
mathematical, kinesthetic, spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and
naturalistic.
This is a unique early childhood
music program that is magical and innovative in process, curriculum,
materials and presentation style. Based on the belief that every child is
born with natural musical intelligence, Mary Ann Hall has created an
exciting and multidimensional program which enables children to discover,
develop and celebrate their own individual talents. MUSIC FOR CHILDREN
focuses on your child as the primary instrument through which the music
flows and grows.
